Australian born Photographer James Houston is recognized as one of the leading beauty and body photographers in the world. Based in New York, his background as a ceramic sculptor helped shape his distinct photographic style.

Award winning Houston has travelled the globe in a career that spans over twenty-five years shooting the highest profile models and celebrities for the world’s leading brands and publications. Clients such as Vogue, L’Oreal Paris, Donna Karan, Hugo Boss, Givenchy and GAP appreciate his eye for beauty.

Houston was executive producer on the short documentary film ‘Making of MOVE’, released on MTV (Asia) and Foxtel (Australia).

In his photography, James Houston creates a dialogue between the beauty of the human body and the changing forms of nature. Color and shapes meet in an almost sensorial experience. “Here you can feel the heat and the touch just from looking at the images”.
