The royal tour is off with a bang, friends. The Duchess of Cambridge emerged on Sunday, the second day of a week-long royal tour, wearing a red-and-white Alexander McQueen dress which the Daily Mail notes is a “nod to the Canadian flag.” The red-and-white dress retails for about $5,200 and it is very Kate—sophisticated, chic, striking. She paired the look with a bright red clutch and red shoes.

Kate and William—also looking sharp in a grey charcoal suit—made their way from Victoria to Vancouver (about 70 miles north, in British Columbia), via sea plane. They will be meeting with some dignitaries in Vancouver, before a series of engagements, including a visit to a pregnancy outreach program, and the Immigrant Services Society, which provides programs for refugees and immigrants. After those stops, the couple will make their way to a reception for “young Canadian leaders and celebrities,” held in the Telus Gardens, per People.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte—who both waved to the crowds Saturday upon their arrival in Victoria—remained at home for the day, but Kate and William will be reunited with their children this evening when they return to Government House, which will be their home base for the stay.
