Lily-Rose Depp’s first fragrance campaign for Chanel has landed, two months after the fashion house confirmed that she would be the face of its new scent – Chanel No.5 L’Eau.
Depp was photographed by Karim Sadli for the campaign, which was directed by Johan Renck. Taking to her Instagram account to post one of the images for the first time, the actress expressed her gratitude – “Thank you to the entire Chanel team for this incredible honour.”
Depp has a long history with Chanel – she has starred in an eyewear campaign for the house; she regularly wears Chanel for red-carpet appearances; is a firm fixture on its front rows during fashion-week; and walked in Karl Lagerfeld’s casino-themed show. Her mother, Vanessa Paradis, has been a long-term Chanel ambassador, starring in multiple campaigns including for its Coco fragrance in 1991.
